Continuing Professional Development

Continuing Education Points (CEPs) are used to keep track of the professional development undertaken by current members of the NZSTA. It is required that full members accrue 45 points in a three year period. There are thirteen (13) categories in which members can obtain points, with limits applying in some categories.

Recording of CEPs is now carried out primarily by computer; the Continuing Professional Development Form can be be e-mailed to the Executive Officer once completed or uploaded when you complete your on-line membership renewal form.  Please retain full records as proof of any professional development activity for verification and audit by NZSTA.
