Area Representatives
Area Reps act as a link between members and the Executive Committee. They represent members in seven areas across the country. There are also three student representatives, each of whom represent one of the three training institutions in New Zealand.
There are currently eight Area Reps and three Student Reps spread throughout New Zealand. Area Reps act as a 'link' between members in their respective area and the Executive Committee. The main function of Area Reps is dissemination of information to members. This role is most commonly fulfilled through quarterly Area Meetings.
Area Reps can be contacted, using the details below, for general or specific questions, comments or concerns around matters related to NZSTA.
All Speech-language therapists are welcome at NZSTA Area Meetings, whether they are current members or not. To find out when and where the next Area Meeting is being held, please contact the local Area Rep.
