NZSTA currently has two main publications: the New Zealand Journal of Speech-Language Therapy, which is produced annually, and Communication Matters, a newsletter produced quarterly.
New Zealand Journal of Speech-Language Therapy
This journal is produced annually by the association, and is typically distributed to members at the end of the year. The journal includes research papers, conference proceedings, and book reviews. Circulation is currently around 675.

The current Editor is Professor Michael Robb. Any manuscript and editorial correspondence should be directed to him. Any other correspondence related to the journal should be directed to Shona Powell.
Communication Matters
Communication Matters is the association's magazine, which is produced seasonally, with four editions a year. The magazine provides members with updates on issues related to each portfolio held by the Executive Committee, and also advertises current Job vacancies, and upcoming Professional Development events. Circulation of the magazine is currently around 650.

Current members of the NZSTA have full access to the 2008 and 2009 editions.
